Countdown and Reminder iGoogle gadget

This gadget counts the number of days remaining until any annual occasion on the calendar
(ie: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, etc.)

When the specified occasion has already passed this year, it displays the days remaining until the next year's.

(Note: Blinking text only available for Firefox user. )

To display the Countdown and Reminder iGoogle gadget in your home page click this button:

Countdown and Reminder gadget Settings

Once the gadget has been added to your page, click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the gadget. You will then be able to click on "edit settings”.

Now:

1. You may input your own title gadget or leave the default.
2. In the "event,month,day" field enter the event, the month (1-12) and the day (1-31), sepparated by comma. i.e:  Christmas Day,12,25
3. Click "add"
4. Repeat steps 2. and 3. and, when you are finished, click "Save".

About the Countdown and Reminder iGoogle gadget

This gadget counts the number of days remaining until any annual occasion on the calendar,
ie: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, etc.
When the event day has been reached the gadget will display a red flag [] and the text, in red, will blink (only with firefox!). The orange flag [], with red text, will be displayed 7 days before the event. Green flag [], green text, remaining days.

Troubleshooting

If you are having problems you are using internet explorer, right? To solve everything just use Firefox. Everything works better with firefox. Switch to FF now! See for yourself...
